Plan to Plan

There are moments in my life when I feel extremely disorganized (often during summer break when there are no structures dictating my life). I lose track of the days, and it's harder for me to keep up with important commitments to myself, such as exercise and others.

This is one of those times, and it's exacerbated by the fact that I am in a weird transitional space as I start my own business. I am feeling equal parts creative and utterly scattered in this moment, and I have been meaning to sit down and organize my life.

Week after week, I have been telling myself to sit down and plan out my exercise plan, my work / business plan, etc., but I haven't apparently found the time to do so. I must now resort to what may sound like a horrible concept for those of us who are more the spontaneous kind. I must now resort to planning to plan.

I have now blocked out a few spaces in my calendar this week to plan to plan, and, already, I am starting to feel more at peace!

Discussion Question 1) What do you do during important transitions in order to organize yourself and meet your goals?
